ABAD Quarterly Watch — Q4 2025

The year 2025 has been a whirlwind of transformation and change, leaving its mark both in the United States and across the globe. Here are some pivotal events that have reshaped our world:

  • The YouVersion Bible App has achieved an incredible milestone, surpassing one billion downloads worldwide. This digital revolution in faith is connecting people with God and with one another like never before.

  • The election of President Donald Trump has sparked significant changes in both domestic and foreign policies, ushering in a transformation for the United States in the global stage.

  • The tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk sent shockwaves around the world, yet it also sparked a profound spiritual awakening that inspired countless individuals to seek solace and guidance by turning to God.

  • The Bible has had an increase in interest, as highlighted by Circana BookScan’s report of 18 million print Bibles sold in the U.S. in 2025—a remarkable 14% increase from the previous year.

Life is a tapestry of change, whether we embrace it or not. Yet, amidst all the shifts, two constants remain: God’s unchanging character and His enduring mission for us to go and make disciples.

A Buck a Day is dedicated to empowering every believer to build up Christ’s kingdom. By financially supporting God’s work across the nation, you play a vital role in His global mission.

Thanks to your generosity, missionaries in Asia and beyond are making a lasting impact. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and faithfulness.

On behalf of A Buck a Day, we wish you a joyous Christmas and a blessed New Year!

MISSIONARIES IN HISTORY

In 1703, John Wesley was born into a family of faith, the 15th of 19 children, inspired by the unwavering devotion of his parents, Samuel and Susanna Wesley.

His journey of faith began at Oxford University, where he founded the “Holy Club,” a group dedicated to a disciplined and purposeful approach to prayer, Bible study, fasting, and charity. Though initially mocked as “Methodists,” their commitment laid the foundation for a transformative movement.

In 1735, Wesley embarked on a missionary outreach to Georgia, USA. Though he returned feeling disheartened, this experience was a stepping stone to a pivotal moment in his life. On May 24, 1738, at a meeting on Aldersgate Street in London, Wesley experienced a profound evangelical conversion. This awakening ignited a passion for personal assurance of salvation through faith, inspiring countless others.

Wesley’s dedication was unparalleled; he traveled over 250,000 miles on horseback, delivering more than 40,000 sermons. His voice was a beacon for social justice, education, and the abolition of slavery, leaving an indelible mark on evangelicalism, holiness movements, and social reform.

Though John Wesley passed away in 1791, his legacy continues to inspire and empower those who seek to advance the Kingdom of God. We are deeply grateful for his life and the enduring impact of his vision and courage.

MISSIONARIES IN THE FIELD

A Continuing Partnership

In 2020, A Buck a Day embarked on a significantly life-changing journey by partnering with Coalition with Global Mission’s ministry, led by the visionary Bishop Ed Villagomez. This partnership has empowered Filipino missionaries to make a profound impact in their communities, extending their reach to Thailand and beyond in Asia. Their dedication and passion continue to inspire and uplift those around them, proving that what may seem to be the smallest contributions can lead to monumental change. Let us celebrate their unwavering commitment and support their mission to spread hope and light across the continent.

Open Doors for More Ministry

Jeff and Faith, along with their daughter, Asia, and two members of their missionary team, are filled with hope as they look back on their ministry in Hyderabad, India this year. They hosted a two-day event that welcomed 67 pastors and leaders, many of whom are young and in need of inspiration to continue serving God in the region. The event brought about significant breakthroughs for some who are overcoming depression and fear, leaving many with a sense of optimism for the future and the dedication to pursue God’s calling in their lives.

Well of Life

Our mission partner in Nepal, RHMI, continues to make a profound impact in the western Himalayan region by providing free, clean water. This life-giving well not only serves the community but also acts as a powerful conduit for sharing the gospel, transforming lives and spreading hope.

New Believers Added

Prabhat, Amy, and their dedicated team are making remarkable strides in their outreach efforts in New Delhi, India. This season, they have joyfully welcomed six new believers into their community through baptism. Despite the challenges posed by tightened restrictions on religious liberty, these baptisms have been carefully conducted with hope and determination, marking a significant and inspiring milestone in their mission.

Celebrating a Year of Global Impact: AMO’s Remarkable Journey

In a year filled with divine grace and fruitful partnerships, our Thai mission partner, AMO, has achieved a monumental milestone. Inspired by the promise in Psalms 2:8, “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession,” AMO set an ambitious goal to reach 50 Asian nations. This year, they have made significant strides, successfully touching the lives of people in 25 nations. This achievement is a testament to their unwavering dedication and the powerful impact of our collaborative efforts in spreading God’s mission across the globe.
